I collaborated with the Saint Louis Zoo, Missouri Department of Conservation, and US Fish and Wildlife to create a literature database, compile data to create a database for use in population-level threat assessments, and compile, analyze, and report on nine years of zoo-reared hellbender performance and growth data.

Also assisted with mist netting bats, collecting New England cottontail feces, and educating folks in the community.

Bats,I compiled, processed, and analyzed 7 years of acoustic bat monitoring data using Sonobat and occupancy models. I also performed bat winter hibernacula count surveys and responded to public inquiries about bats.

Bears,I helped perform black bear den surveys to replace GPS collars and microchip the cubs.

Oregon Spotted Frogs
I helped assess the occupancy and abundance of federally threatened Oregon spotted frogs (Rana pretiosa) by performing repeated visual encounter and mark-recapture surveys, tracking frogs with radio-telemetry, measuring wetland characteristics and vegetation, and relating current distributions to historical records.
